thank you fellow bloggers, visitors, taggers, strangers, etc etc ... for taking time to visit this silly little cyber world of mine.

when i first started this blog way back in june, i never thought that ...

1) i could actually update every 2 days, at least (yes i've been a slacker lately)
2) i would meet such gorgeous, wonderful and fun people
3) my henna business would flourish (i was hoping it would though, heh)

it's been fun knowing all of you. i will start blogging regularly again when i get my life sorted out a bit, insya Allah.

thank you for all the eid greetings, tags, smses. i'm sorry i wasn't able to reply to each and everyone of you personally but please know that you are always in my prayers.

Amir the Adorable demonstrated a milestone in his development last Friday. He is now officially a yogi (not the cartoon bear variety, please). When I visited him, he was bent double in his own brand of yoga position (pic below). We can now call it the Amiryogi pose. He smiled at me cheekily as he brought one foot closer to his mouth. Well, you know what he did then .... that big toe must've tasted so good. Ummm, baby? You're gross. Heh!

Anyways, the highlight of my life now is watching him grow (yes yes, I'm pathetic). He is one awfully alert and curious boy. He has also discovered his voice and sometimes in his excitement to use it, he'd let out sudden and loud shrieks, which is usually very hilarious to watch 'cos he'd have this surprise look on his face when he does that. Like, where did that sound come from??. Heh, silly wombat boy ...

It's about time for an update, eh? Yeah yeah I know I've been such a slacker but ... I seriously NEED to catch up on my beauty sleep *see previous entry* (which in turn did good (or bad?) things to the 10,000 pimples ... ahh, I now have join-the-dots marks on my face, no more ready-to-erupt pimples). PLUS, I was back at work since Tuesday ... and well, after all the screaming and kicking subsided, I finally managed to settle down to read 2 weeks worth of emails. *wonders* Why can't I be a tai-tai?? ... *sigh* ....

To all the lovely people who responded to the second part of my previous entry, thank you! I *heart* all of you muchly. Your support, hugs and kind words really made things easier for me, Alhamdulillah.

Anyways .... on with today's entry ....

Today I have on a pink blouse. Yes, P-I-N-K. I don't usually wear pink 'cos my tanned, golden brown skin simply clashes horribly with the aforementioned colour. This is a fact. But if I cared to look for clothes in the right shade of pink, I could actually get away with looking all pretty and girlish in it (awwww ...). So, today I do feel pretty and girlish ... *giggles* ...

And well, who can resist a cute pink blouse with lovely henna designs on it?? Me? Nah, I'm a sucker for anything henna-related *winks to a certain henna-crazed person*.
