*ahem*

contrary to popular beliefs, i'm not (usually) a bitter, angry, angsty, foul-mouthed little monster. in fact, i am *almost* always jovial, giggly and good-natured. betol, gua tak bedek. people who know me, go on and vouch for me, although i don't need convincing myself. heh. i only have 2 pet peeves. people who question my singlehood (cos they are rotten little busybodies), and people who judge me because of it (cos they are pompous and self-indulgent). and for that, i will bite their heads off. nope, i'm not kidding. so it's better to avoid those topics completely unless you are TRULY concerned and you want to help. you've been warned ;-) ...

alrighty then, onwards to happier things ...

i've abandoned this HENNA blog for way too long and i do have like a gajillion photos to upload and flaunt (heh) and stories to share but well, life happens. anyhoos, i will *try* to post all henna photos from january till now on my multiply in the next couple of days, so watch out for them, k? i've been trying different and totally beautiful styles and i'm just blown away by the results. i'm glad the brides love them too, alhamdulillah :-).

here's a beautiful pattern by a friend of mine, who is a talented henna artist from UK, kiran sahib. i just LOVE her style and am trying hard to replicate them in what i hope, my own style. still got a long way to go. thanks to the beautiful and gentle lina for choosing this pattern. i have to admit that i nearly lose my sanity doing it cos the pattern, albeit beautiful, was a b*tch to draw ON BOTH HANDS. trying to get it symmetrical and consistent on both hands almost drive me nuts! i was a fire-breathing dragon at the end of it but hey, i love the challenge so, thank you!


in other news, if you wanna hear me stumble all over my malay (i spik him bad, dat malay) and babble on and on like a rabid parrot, tune in to RSI TODAY at 1840H and the repeat telecast at 2340H (click on "dengar siaran kami" during the stipulated times). try to ignore the painfully terrible malay k? oh and before anyone get into a hysterical hissy fit about my bad malay, a disclaimer: i'm happy to be malay and i *try* to speak the language often and no, i'm not ashamed to speak malay at any time. sadly, i'm just not very proficient in it. 'kay?
