i've been such a slacker. there are many things happening all at once and i wish i could blog them all. but i was overwhelmed. thank God for people like herda and fina who update most religiously (you guys have more than 24 hours a day or what??). anyways, in an attempt to not seem outdated, here's a recap on what's been happening all week.

dec 8: hana's (of izadnhana) 27th birthday.
a bunch of us (ie. herda, fina, crazycookie, mystique, fashionista and myself) plotted a surprise party for her. thanks to izad (aka mr hana), the *evil* scheme was executed beautifully. dinner was at lau pa sat. herda and i cooked up this idea of a princessy theme party. so we all got her a pretty tiara and wand (hmm, princesses carry wands? we are a confused bunch of people). we also got her a mrs field's brownie cake which was absolutely, sinfully delish! she was moved to tears (awwww ...). the night was filled with lots of good food, belly-aching laughter and great friendship. photos? i'm just gonna siphon them off herda's, fina's, izadnhana's and mystique's. thanks ladies. heh heh!

dec 9: did henna for a very special friend. congrats, babe. here's to the loss of personal liberty and many years of marital bliss! he's one uber lucky man *grins*. photos here.



dec 10: another bridal henna gig. photos soon.
later that night i crashed shireen and malique's post-eid gathering. got there at 10:30pm and was feeling very tired and achy. but as soon as i entered their crib, i felt my lethargy ebb away thanks to the grinning, friendly familiar faces that greeted me. it's good to see them again. shir darling, thanks for having me over. i had a blast! photos by herda, fina, mystique and izadnhana.

dec 11: did henna for NKF's cancer awareness day at tampines from 11am to 5pm. because of this engagement, i was unable to attend the aforementioned special friend's wedding :(. sorry babe. when i accepted this job, i totally forgot that it coincides with your wedding. i'm such a doofus! hope you had a beautiful wedding. no photos 'cos i was too busy hennaing 10,000 people *faints*.

dec 12: went to another friend's wedding. wow, a convoy of harley bikes accompanied the newly-weds. awesome! oooh, and i get to spend the afternoon with amir the adorable.

can my life get back to normal now?

*checks diary* ....

right .... uh-huh .....

think i'm gonna get high for a bit. pass me that bottle of eucalyptus oil please .... thank you ...
