i would blame the lack of updating to work, school and deep musings.
everyone in agreement that the past week has been hell, say aye ....
why does the first work week of the year have to be bang-your-head-against-the-wall hectic and crazy?? ... strangely, the school term started in mid december, so we didn't get much feel of the "end of the year holiday" mood. one would think that by january, things would've settled down to a boring old routine. but nope, still crazy ... no time to eat, no time to pee ....
thank God for yoga ....
my classes have been enjoyable and fun so far ... except for assignments, assignments, assignments .... the worst part? all due in the same weekend ... yikes! can they kill us further? ...
ok, before anyone decides to kick my butt for bitching, i wasn't complaining. i've got nothing to complain about, none at all ... i'm grateful that i'm still alive, that my life goes on as it is, albeit the usual silly little hiccups and that my home has not been ravished by giant walls of waves .... i'm truly grateful, Alhamdulillah, masya Allah, subhanallah!
the disaster has affected me deeply though. my heart goes out to all the victims. in retrospect, it has led me into frequent solitary sessions of deep musings. in these past weeks, i've learnt alot more about my religion, my relationship with Allah and how i've been as a person and a muslim. in that sense, i am thankful. i can't imagine what it would be like to find out one day that it was too late to muse about these things or worse, to repent and make amends.
everything happens for a reason. if you think that you're the reason or part of it, then it's time to reflect, do something differently, make a change ....
