i came across these beautiful hadiths and would like to share them. have a great weekend everyone.
abu hurairah narrated that the messenger of Allah said :
"let him who believes in Allah and the last day either speak good or keep silent, and let him who believes in Allah and the last day be generous to his neighbour, and let him who believes in Allah and the last day be generous to his guest."
(related by bukhari and muslim)
on the authority of abu dhar jundub bin junadah, and muadh bin jabal that the messenger of Allah said :
"fear Allah wherever you are, and follow up a bad deed with a good one and it will wipe it out, and behave well towards people."
(narrated by at-tirmithi)
on the authority of abu hurairah, who said: the messenger of Allah said:
on the authority of abu'd darda, who said: the messenger of Allah said:
"on the day of judgement what will weigh more heavily in favour of the believer will be his good morals. God abhors those who indulge in shameless talk and use indecent language"
on the authority of bahz ibn hakim, who said: the messenger of Allah said:

"do not rejoice in the misfortune of your brother for God may show him compassion but create difficulties for you"

"the most perfect of believers in point of faith is he who is best in manners"

"none of you (truly) believe until he wishes for his brother what he wishes for himself"

on the authority of abu hurairah, who said: the messenger of Allah said:
"a person once said to the prophet, o messenger of God, a certain woman is said to offer salah, observe fast and give alms generously. but she hurts her neighbours by the way she speaks. the prophet replied, she will go to hell.
then the man said, o messenger of God, a certain other woman says fewer prayers, keeps fewer fast voluntarily and offers little in way of alms. she only gives a few pieces of cheese. but she never hurts her neighbours with her speech. the prophet replied, she will enter paradise"
