thank you, my dearest friends for your wonderful and encouraging comments on my last entry. i'm sorry for being a little on the slow side with replying. exams invaded my life last week (hence the brief hiatus) and then work decided to take a little revenge on me. the mountain of work that greeted me on tuesday was nothing short of awesome and i was only out of the office for 4 damn days! heh. still, it warms my heart when i see the kind of response i get from that totally "sewer-mouthed" entry. i do apologise for the language (cos good and proper girls shouldn't cuss yadda yadda yadda) but the content is honest and heartfelt. i've totally lost it with those narrow-minded people. i told a friend that i'm done being diplomatic and nice. the next idiot who even mentions anything that has the words resembling marriage/wedding/husband/when and the likes, is so gonna get a mouthful of flavourful french from me (or the finger. heh). i'm absolutely serious about that last part of the entry. those people should stay away from me.

hokay, now that i'm back to being cheerful and wacky again, i've got some stuff to share. firstly, yep what else but henna! i get to meet some truly amazing people last week and i had an enjoyable time discussing with one about being an "old maid" in singapore (the bride-to-be is a year older than me so she understood my angst). if you're reading this, yes i'm talking about you, my dear. heh. in any case, i think the malay community did not do her justice when it happily berated her for being unmarried for a long time. she is beautiful, intelligent, good-natured, humble, successful and has a good heart. talking to her openly about our shared feelings was probably one of the highlights of my life last week. especially since i was still smarting from the words of that insensitive fool. babe, i hope you'll have a wonderful and happy life with the man of your dreams! do stay in touch, ya?

where was i? ah yes .... henna! here are some pics. oh i have to say that i just love it when a bride chooses a design concept and tells me to run with it. i'd look at her with googly-eyed adoration and try my darnedest to create a brand-new masterpiece. anyways, she loves it and i love her for letting me do something different.
