it's august already?? YIKES!

where did july go? i love july! july please come back ...

ok, i guess i can get used to august for awhile *sigh*. i kinda like the clouds in august ...

speaking of clouds, i was on my way home yesterday and i happened to look up and i saw beautiful cloud formations against a really gorgeous blue sky. i dunno about you, but i haven't seen a nice blue sky for awhile (or maybe i was too busy being cooped up in the stinking office). anyways anyhoos, i whipped out the ever-ready olympus and started snapping. nice eh? melikes! i have this thing for clouds. i could spend all day lying on the grass (provided there are no ants and other creepy crawlies!) just staring at them. i love the contrast between the fluffy whiteness against the royal blue. i love making shapes out of them. the best cloud formation i've seen are the ones in indonesia and australia. the skies in madinah and makkah are almost always devoid of clouds (maybe because of the really hot weather) but the skies in madinah are the most beautiful blue *sigh*.


ok i'm sure by now people would think i'm a total nutcase ... but seriously, go here for seriously kickass cloud photos. gorgeous stuff!

on other exciting news (heh), i found a packet of chickadees. ok i didn't FIND it, i actually bought it .... with real money ...heh. hey, i found charlie chickadees!!! i mean, i don't even remember the last time i ate that stuff. of course i had to buy it! ... with real money! ... heh.


ok, does anyone still remember the jingle for chickadees??
